Unattach is a web application and a browser extension that runs only in your browser. It does not run on Unattach servers.
Unattach receives your personal data from Gmail and sends your personal data to Gmail, both over a secure connection.
Unattach never sends any personal data to any other location, not even to the Unattach servers.
The only exceptions here are the 'Upload Attachments to Dropbox' and 'Upload Attachments to URL' features, where you can either upload attachments to your Dropbox account or send attachments to the Internet address of your choice, respectively.
All processing of personal data (e.g. removing attachments or reducing image sizes) is done within your browser.
Your personal data is used only to fulfill your actions. No copies of personal data are retained.
Unattach's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Unattach may send usage and error logs to our servers in order to continually improve our service to you. We made every effort to ensure that these logs don't contain any personal data.
Our website may collect standard usage analytics through Google Analytics in order to help us improve the website for you. We made every effort to follow the laws regarding such data collection.
We use the standard industry practices to ensure that Unattach server(s) are secure.
Unattach server(s) store your Unattach account information, e.g. your email address, your name, your settings, and any subscription you may have. This information is used only to provide the Unattach service, and is not shared with third parties.
We may email you in relation to your interactions with the Unattach service, for example when you buy a subscription. You may not opt out from these emails, since they are considered essential to fulfilling the service.
We will give you an option to subscribe to the Unattach newsletter. If you subscribe to the newsletter, we may occasionally email you. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any point.
We use a third-party service for sending you emails, both for transactional and newsletter emails. Your email address will not be shared with other third-parties or used for any other purpose.
